The story of this short, which was posted to the National Geographic Facebook page on Tuesday, is that one of the world’s greatest minds is also a master of video games.
This isn’t the first time that the scientist has been credited with a video-game creation, and his work is well known.
But in the 1980s and 1990s, it was the famed psychologist Carl Jung who would go on to influence video games, and this was one of his most influential pieces of work.
In the video above, Jung talks about his relationship with games, the meaning of creativity and why he’s so excited to be a pioneer of this new field of inquiry.
