Posted April 30, 2019 04:23:59Today, we are proud to announce that Mythical entertainment center, the top rated entertainment destination in Australia, has secured a five-year, $1.8 billion investment from a group of investors led by J.P. Morgan Chase, according to an exclusive report by Australian Business Review.
The deal will help the entertainment center maintain its status as one of Australia’s most successful entertainment destinations, according the report, which was obtained by The Wall Street Journal.
The announcement comes just days after a report revealed that the Australian Government is considering a $5.9 billion investment in the entertainment hub.
The Mythical center is one of the largest entertainment hubs in the world, attracting over 30 million visitors a year.
In 2016, it was ranked as the fourth most visited entertainment hub in the country, according a 2016 report from the Australian Tourism Council.
“The Mythological Entertainment Center is a special destination in its own right,” said Andrew O’Connor, chief executive officer of the Australian Economic Development Corporation, in a statement.
“We are delighted to partner with a group such as J. P. Morgan to further enhance our brand and to provide the public with a new entertainment destination.”
According to the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC), the Mythical Center was originally founded in 1884 by a group who lived in a cave in the Black Hills of South Dakota, and later expanded to include a theater, an amusement park, a hotel and an entertainment complex.
Since the end of World War II, the Mythic entertainment center has hosted shows such as “Doctor Who” and “The Hobbit.”
