The Rams, who play at home in Inglewood, Calif., on Thursday night, are not interested in moving the team to Los Angeles, according to an NFL source.

It’s unclear why the Rams, whose franchise-record home attendance last season was the second-highest in NFL history, would consider leaving.

They’re scheduled to play at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum on Sunday.

“It’s a good opportunity for them to have a different stadium and to be closer to their fans,” a source close to the situation told ESPN.

“There are many other teams that could be interested in coming in and building a new stadium.”

It’s not the first time the Rams have been linked to a move to Los.

In 2012, the team was considering moving to Anaheim, Calif.

The Rams and Chargers are the only NFL teams with stadiums with an estimated capacity of 18,000.

The Chargers are planning to build a new football stadium in Ingleside, Calif.; the Rams are planning a new one in Ingletown.
